The Finance Associate is responsible for handling the day to day accounting administrative duties for the business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general administrative tasks in the Finance Department
- Post wire payments in auction/client database system
- Review and research pending credit card payments. Request necessary information from buyer if needed for validation.
- Must learn and develop appropriate knowledge of the auction/client database as well as internal reports and databases
- Process buyer refunds as needed
- Set up and maintain vendors in accounting software
- Manage Accounting Inbox daily including Client, Customer Service and Bidder request. Sort emails and send to appropriate team member.
- Perform other finance operational duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience:
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred or 1 – 3 years related work experience.
- Proficient in standard computer software and Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of PayPal and American Express Merchant Services is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Great organizational skills and ability to be detail oriented required.
- Must be able to demonstrate a cooperative spirit while supporting both internal and external customers. Must provide excellent customer service in a timely manner.

Work is typically performed in the office environment. Must be able to work from home should business needs dictate.
