Leading Architecture firm is seeking a Specification Writer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural or engineering plans
• Prepare material lists and specifications to be used for construction activities
• Analyzes, plans, and diagrams material processing for construction activities
• Write technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties, using knowledge of material standards
• Utilize rough sketches or photographs to illustrate materials or assembly sequence

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture or a related field
• Proven experience as a Specification Writer
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of MS Office and other software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Newforma, etc.
