A large, well-respected law firm in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal to their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Case Management from inception through discovery and verdict
• Drafting and electronic filing of pleadings
• Deposition scheduling and summarization
• Legal research and trial preparation
• Knowledge and experience with document management software

Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in paralegal studies or NALA certification and prior litigation experience is required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university plus paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program and 3 years of experience in both State and Federal Courts is preferred
• Familiar with Rules of Civil Procedure
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to work independently
