    HVAC Technician-Certified

    An established and reputable Birmingham entertainment venue seeking a skilled certified HVAC Technician to install, repair and maintain a variety of equipment. Stable work schedule and awesome company!

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze, plan, and perform preventive maintenance of HVAC system
    • Maintain and repair pumps including chill water, heating water and condensation pumps
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and make modifications to HVAC system
    • Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC equipment

     Educational Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma
    • Trade School Certificate required
    • HVAC Certification
    • EPA Certification
    • 3+ years of experience 

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Ability to organize work and meet deadlines
    • Experienced mastery with all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates in conjunction with the other components and how that impacts the overall operations of the system
    • Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Ability to run copper piping and PVC
    • Knowledge and mastery of advanced refrigeration cycles to ensure routine maintenance and trouble shoot repairs
    • Understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation, and charging
    • Understands the installation and sizing of refrigerant piping
    • Knowledge and mastery of heating cycle to ensure routine maintenance and trouble shoot repairs
    • Experience with electrical AC/DC currents and various electrical circuits
    • Ability to read wiring advanced wiring diagrams
    • Ability to use multi-meters to read voltage, current and resistance values
    • Must be able to troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits
