    What does this role entail?

    GACC South is seeking a motivated Intern Career Services to support the Consulting Department across recruiting, workforce consulting, and client engagement activities.

    This internship offers hands-on exposure to international HR and consulting services and involves close collaboration with companies, candidates, and internal teams. The intern will actively contribute to daily operations while gaining insight into the further development of our Career Services portfolio.

    The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, communicative, and business-minded, with a strong interest in international workforce, HR, and mobility topics.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruiting & Talent Services Support

    • Assist in coordinating recruiting activities for client companies
    • Support active candidate sourcing and initial candidate screenings
    • Help prepare candidate profiles and ensure alignment with client requirements
    • Support interview coordination and evaluation processes
    • Maintain applicant tracking systems, documentation, and reports
    • Assist with research on talent acquisition strategies and local hiring practices

    Client Engagement & Relationship Support

    • Support communication with companies seeking talent and workforce-related services
    • Participate in discussions with companies to understand needs and identify potential areas of collaboration
    • Assist in maintaining client data and CRM systems
    • Support the preparation of client briefings, presentations, and service proposals

    Consulting & Market Entry Support

    • Support consulting projects related to U.S. market entry, workforce planning, and HR structures
    • Conduct market and labor research and help prepare reports
    • Assist with project documentation, timelines, and internal coordination
    • Support delegations, client visits, and consulting-related events

    Global Mobility & Career Services

    • Support J-1 visa sponsorship processes and Global Mobility services in coordination with internal teams and partners
    • Assist companies and candidates with onboarding and compliance-related topics
    • Contribute ideas and support the development of career services offerings
    • Support international talent programs and exchange initiatives

    Project & Program Coordination

    • Assist with logistics, vendors, and internal coordination across projects
    • Support workforce development initiatives, client events, and special projects
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
    • Support the continuous development of the Career Services portfolio based on market and client needs

    Required Qualifications

    • Recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, HR, International Relations, or a related field
    • Fluent German and English skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong interest in recruiting, HR, consulting, or international business
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an international environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • First experience or coursework related to HR, recruiting, or consulting
    • Interest in international or transatlantic business environments
    • Familiarity with CRM systems or applicant tracking systems
    • Previous internship or student job in a business-related field
