    Overview:

    Equinox Physical Therapy is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Neuro/Vestibular focused position at their clinic located in Sarasota, FL. This position is open to all experience levels. New grads with Vestibular experience during clinicals will be considered. Experience in acute care, hospital, or rehab settings is preferred.

    PT should have a high comfort and interest in seeing vestibular patients. Candidates with Vestibular Certification are preferred, but if not, we will support you in getting certified. If you have the interest, we will help you.

    Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates will also be considered.

     

    Caseload:

    The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of vestibular cases specializing in

    treating patients with BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), Meniere’s Disease, Vestibular neuritis, Labyrinthitis, Acoustic Neuroma, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, Concussion, Bilateral Vestibular hypofunction, motion sickness, Dysequilibrium, Difficulty walking, Falls, Poor posture, Parkinson’s disorder and more.

    The patient population ranges from 20 years old - 100 years old.

    Most patients treated are over the age of 50.

    Patient care is 1:1, with no double bookings.

    Full-time PTs should expect to treat 10-12 patients per day.

     

    Schedule / Hours:

    The clinic hours are: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

    The actual work schedule and hours for this position will be mutually determined based on the candidate's availability and the clinic's needs. No weekends or holidays are required.

     

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Physical Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. This position starts at $38 per hour. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.

    Benefits include: a healthcare stipend, PTO, 6 paid holidays, and a CEU stipend up to $1000 per year.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Eligible or currently licensed in Florida for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

    • Open to all experience levels including new grad PTs. New grads with Vestibular experience in clinicals will be considered.

    • Previous experience in acute care, hospital, or rehab experience is preferred.

    • Candidates with Vestibular Certification are preferred. 

    • Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates will also be considered.
