    Copy Writer

    Job Location:NYC

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Write copy for advertising, interactive and design projects as well as for the business in general

    • Understands the economy of wordswritesin a clear and concise manner

    • Partners with art team members to generate creative concepts/platforms/campaigns with killer instinct

    • Able to move seamlessly from brand to brand as needs arise

    • Establish relationships and present creative work to clients

    • Liaisons with fellow disciplines to skillfully produce qualitywork

    • Partners and communicates clearly with creative supervisors, art team, project managers and account counterparts to ensure projects adhere to process to deliver quality work

    • Participates in new business initiatives

    • Keeps an eye on creative trends/award winning work, deliversinnovative thinking

    • Present ideas and discusses progress with the Creative Directors before making presentations to clients amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the Creative Director or clients

    • Write scripts, social media copy but also longer editorial pieces when required, (for websites as an example)

    • Leverage analytics reporting and social data to refine storytelling and topics.

    • Craft digital copy optimized for search engine optimization and consistent with brand standards

    • Revise, edit, proofread and fact check your own copy to ensure accuracy of information and writing mechanics

     

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working on agency teams or familiarity with marketing, creative, advertising or other similar agency services

    • Experience in the digital travel or lifestyle media space, with an emphasis on using visual storytelling to build audiences across multiple digital platforms.

    • Demonstrated experience in writing across audiences and channels

    • Client-facing experience a plus

    • Team spirit with an ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment

    • A portfolio that shows strong strategic and conceptual campaign thinking applied across a range of deliverables, including TV/video.

    • Proven expertise in developing engaging social content, with a particular emphasis on photography and video.

    • Exceptional producing, writing, and communications skills.

    • Ability to deliver on time and on brief.

    • Proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure in fast-paced/ startup environments.

    • Detail-oriented and self-motivated in a remote work capacity

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
