A well-established insurance firm offering a comprehensive range of personal, commercial, and group benefits lines of insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager. This role is designed for an individual with a broad understanding of general commercial accounts rather than a specialization in one particular market.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, providing end-to-end service that includes everything from pre-renewal meetings to binding policies.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee a general commercial account book of business, handling all aspects of the account management lifecycle.

Conduct pre-renewal meetings, perform audits, and engage in marketing and re-marketing activities with carriers.

Process necessary documents such as certificates and endorsements, and make professional presentations.

Bind insurance policies while ensuring all client needs are met with the highest level of service.

Although the role primarily utilizes third-party processors or assistants for certificates and endorsements, knowledge and ability to handle these tasks directly is required when necessary.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Account Management.

Must have experience working with independent brokers.

Candidates should have a stable work history without frequent job changes.

Ability to report to the Portland office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
