Our client, a distinguished provider of personal, commercial, and group benefits lines of insurance, is currently seeking an ambitious and self-driven Benefits Producer. This role is ideal for candidates who are proficient in generating their own prospects, networking, and establishing credible and strong relationships in the insurance industry.

The position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are new to Benefits, as they will be able to learn and grow in the field while being supported by account managers or producers as technical resources. The candidate will also engage in cross-departmental communication and collaboration, creating and leveraging opportunities for various lines of service.

Job Responsibilities

Independently generate prospects, network, establish credibility, and build strong relationships and pipelines.

Consult on business and close own deals, with the possibility of commission splits when working with technical resources.

Cross-sell and create opportunities for other departments, as well as receive leads for complementary lines of service.

Master cold calling, prospecting, and closing B2B deals.

Develop and implement a business plan, especially if new to the insurance industry.

Qualifications

Experience in self-generating leads, building a pipeline, and B2B sales.

Stability in career history with no frequent job changes.

Willingness to report to the office at least 2 days weekly.

Open to candidates without insurance licensing, but a plan to obtain licensing is necessary.

Currently licensed in WA for Life & Disability (Health) is a plus.

Candidates from outside the insurance industry with strong B2B sales experience are also welcome.
