Service Technician Job Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test pumps to ensure optimal functionality

Clean and inspect rotating equipment for quality assurance

Estimate repair costs and assemble new equipment as needed

Report on job status and any concerns related to quality of work

Travel to customer sites for on-location servicing when required

Mentor junior mechanics to foster skill development and adherence to company standards

Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of safety gear like glasses and shoes

May require standing or walking for extended periods and working in varied temperatures

Qualifications

3-5 years of production or shop experience

1-2 years of experience as a mechanic or millwright specializing in pumps

Associates degree or relevant certification is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Safety gear is mandatory for this role

Willingness to work overtime as needed based on workload
