We are looking for a Design Quality Manager with a Civil Engineering background for our client, a company specialized in Design, Construction/Project Management, and Engineering for Civil Construction infrastructure builds and improvement. The successful candidate will manage the Quality Assurance of projects, including public water works, wastewater, tunnels, light rail, aviation, roads, bridges, etc. This role is crucial for the success of projects located in Seattle and Los Angeles.

Design Quality Manager Job Responsibilities

Manage Quality Assurance of projects: conduct audits, create reports, work with architects, and make recommendations.

Provide Q.A./technical oversight of civil systems engineering designs, systems integration, and construction necessary for compliance.

Monitor and review the work of consultants & contractors on the project to verify compliance of inspection, testing of integrated programs, and review oversight from concept through closeout of the project.

Lead Quality Assurance assessments of design, construction, and submittal reviews.

Lead the development of quality plans, analysis, reports, manuals, and training (when needed).

Prepare reports, assessments, and review comments of all designated team members.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering Degree.

11 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or Manager.

Established experience with leading engineering teams on transportation, rail, and/or infrastructure projects.

P.E. Certification.

Strong knowledge/background in Civil Engineering regulatory compliance.
