As a Junior Product Designer you will assist with building simple, exceptional user experiences. Working directly with our UX Designer and Product Manager, you will help design intuitive solutions to tackle business problems while collaborating with a team of engineers and success managers committed to Making Hiring Easier.
Who are you?
You are a self-motivated, user-driven emerging designer who uses data to drive decisions. You have knowledge of Sketch Libraries, symbols, and best practices for setting up and maintaining design systems, as well as familiarity with web design, adaptive/responsible principles, and mobile/desktop trends and patterns. You have fantastic observation skills, love collaborating with others, and are excited by joining a small design/product to team to make a meaningful impact at a growing company.
Responsibilities:
Assist UX Designer with day-to-day activities:
Create interface designs that support the user experience
Audit and maintain interface design patterns
Design and run usability tests for interface components
Deliver features and own the discovery, research, and design phases
Assist in design library maintenance including usage and style guide documentation
Improve usability measured by wireframe/high fidelity mockup tests and long-term feature completion
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of Sketch Libraries, symbols, and best practices
Knowledge of web design, adaptive/responsive principles, mobile/desktop trends and patterns
Ability to articulate design decisions/provide and receive feedback
System oriented (able to systemize interface elements)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CSS/HTML experience is a plus
Able to provide work samples (a website or PDF link)
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 including bonus potential
