You will work closely with our Product Marketing and Client Engagement managers to take a data-driven approach to creating content for CareerPlug users on how to use the product, including how to use new features and best practices to get the most value out of their account. The goal is to drive product engagement, increase expansion revenue, and reduce 1x1 support interactions.
Who are you? You are above all a strong writer. This is primarily an executor role, with growth potential to take on more ownership and strategic influence of our client communications. Ideally you will have worked in one or two writing/marketing roles previously with an understanding of best practices. Bonus point for working in a SaaS company and on a small team.
Responsibilities:
Write content for automated, effective client email campaigns
Support day-to-day management of client email campaigns including email updates, new content, monitoring, and reporting
Manage client email tool to configure and send off email campaigns
Work with the Product Marketing Manager and Engagement team to design and launch A/B tests to improve product marketing email performance
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Client Experience teams to successfully launch new products & features to the client base
Special writing projects as needed, for example, contributing to the help center, writing blog posts, or proofing content for other departments
Qualifications:
Excellent writer and copyeditor
Previous experience (1-3 years) in marketing/content writing position preferred
Familiarity with HTML is a plus
Analytical / data-driven mindset
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working on a fully remote team

Compensation: This role pays $55,000 base salary with an additional $5,000 annual bonus (paid out quarterly based on company revenue and team goal attainment) for a total on-target compensation of $60,000.
A note on COVID-19 & Remote Work:
As of March 2020, our Austin-based team has been working fully remote. We have transitioned to a Remote First company forever and will have a reduced office space in Austin in the future (earliest Summer 2021 depending on current health & safety guidelines). This role may be filled by either an Austin resident or as a fully remote role for any U.S.-based candidate.
