As a Technical Writing Intern, you will be supporting our software by fielding requested articles, performing product research to understand feature use, and drafting easy-to-understand help articles on how to use a feature. This is a critical role that makes a HUGE impact on our internal teams and to our thousands of product users who rely on self-serve instructional writing to be set up for success. This role is a great opportunity to learn about technical writing in the context of a SaaS company while working in step with a tightly-knit and highly productive product and marketing team. Specific Responsibilities:
Write and update Help Center articles supporting the CareerPlug product
Perform product research and testing to back up writing with verified how-tos
Replicate blog/marketing hiring resources in Help Center for the audience of current clients
Pull product screenshots to provide clear visual context for instructional content
Keep an audit of all Help Center articles, making continuous updates and improvements as time allows.
Desired Qualifications:
Current student interested in pursuing a career in technical writing and/or product marketing
Excellent written communication skills; able to translate complex product features into easy-to-follow written instructions
Proficient copyeditor with an eye for details and commitment to quality
Basic proficiency with Google Suite, plus a general comfort in swiftly learning new technologies
