Responsibilities

Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation, and transfers per the individualized plan of care

Monitor client’s condition and report changes promptly

Meal preparation and nutrition support

Light housekeeping related to client care

Provide companionship and emotional support

Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker)

Provide medication reminders (no administration)

Maintain accurate records of services provided using our mobile app

Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant handwashing)

Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional conduct

Qualifications

Previous caregiving experience

CNA/HHA certification preferred, but not required

Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN

Ability to work 8 or 12-hour shifts (days and/or nights)

High school diploma or GED

1+ year of home care or similar caregiving experience preferred

Must pass a national background check, have CPR and TB Test

Dependable, compassionate, and professional
