Position Overview

A Place At Home – Glenside is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical home care services to seniors in their homes. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable while receiving the support they need.

We are seeking professionals who are reliable, punctual, and committed to excellence in senior care.

This position requires caregivers to travel to client homes throughout our service area.

Reliable transportation is a MUST and a condition of employment.

Applicants must have:

Their own dependable vehicle

A valid driver’s license

Current auto insurance

The ability to travel independently to all assigned shifts

Consistent punctuality and attendance

Please do not apply if you do not have reliable transportation.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Meal preparation and light housekeeping

Medication reminders

Companionship and engagement

Mobility assistance and transfers

Possible transportation of clients to appointments or errands

Accurate documentation of services provided

Maintaining a safe, clean environment

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred

Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus

Strong communication skills

Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Ability to pass required Pennsylvania background checks

Required health clearances and TB test
