    No experience? No problem—we provide paid training. This is a great opportunity to build your resume, especially if you’re in nursing school and want hands-on experience to stay competitive in the healthcare field.

    Position Overview

    The Caregiver is responsible for providing basic daily care and companionship for clients in their homes. Caregivers help maintain care records, observe and report changes in client condition, and communicate with other members of the care team. Caregivers report to the DIrector of Operations

    Starting pay $18/hour, up to $21/hour depending on experience

    Essential Functions

    Enable clients to remain in their homes by monitoring and recording physical and mental condition

    Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following care standards and procedures

    Provide companionship, support, and personal care services (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)

    Plan and prepare meals and snacks, assisting with feeding if needed

    Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands

    Drive clients to appointments or shopping (if applicable)

    Document care in client records and communicate with the care team

    Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies at all times

    Participate in in-service training as required

    Responsibilities

    Observe client’s physical and mental behaviors and report changes to the Administrator or Alternate Administrator

    Report any unsafe environmental conditions

    Explain necessary procedures to clients before performing them

    Maintain continuity of care by documenting in the client’s care plan book and mobile app

    Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests that enhance the quality of service

    Skills & Qualifications

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    Dependable, flexible, compassionate, and able to build strong client relationships

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Good judgment, time management, and listening skills

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (not required)

    Background check and drug test required (THC excluded); fingerprinting may be required for certain cases

    Comfortable using a mobile app for clocking in/out and documentation

    Essential Physical Demands

    Bending, stooping, walking, and general light housekeeping tasks

    Standing for prolonged periods

    Able to lift 25 lbs

    Physically able to perform duties of the position
