In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following individualized care plans. We’re looking for someone with a compassionate heart who not only provides excellent care but also builds meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to creating a safe and supportive environment. Strong communication skills are essential. Prior experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
Remind and assist clients with medication as directed (per North Carolina regulations)
Offer companionship and emotional support
Assist with transportation needs, including errands, medical appointments, and social activities (if applicable)
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or living conditions to supervisors or family members
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience is a plus (not required)
Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, patient, and compassionate demeanor
Must pass a background check and drug screening (per North Carolina regulations)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Must have availability
