    Assisting Hands Seacoast, New Hampshire, is seeking compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals to provide quality care and assistance to clients in their homes.

    At Assisting Hands, our caregivers work with wonderful clients who need companionship and with activities like dressing, showering, meal preparation, light housework, medication reminders, running errands, shopping, creating memorable experiences, and visiting friends/family.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

    Provide companionship and emotional support

    Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed

    Light housekeeping and laundry

    Medication reminders

    Assist with mobility and transfers

    Qualifications:

    Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred

    CPR/First Aid certification

    Must be dependable, caring, and respectful

    Ability to follow care plans and instructions

    Reliable transportation/Car insurance

    Primary Duties:

    Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the client's residence.

    The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care, which may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties.

    Providing nutritional support as needed.

    Reporting changes in the client’s condition.

    Other activities as taught for a specific client and are restricted to the following:

    Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer lift;

    Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises;

    Teaching household routine and skills to well members of the family;

    Observing appearance and gross behavioral changes in the client and reporting to Assisting Hands.
