Arcadia Senior Care Adult Foster Home in Eugene is looking for a kind, dependable caregiver to join our team. Our home provides personalized care in a small, comfortable, family-like environment where residents are treated with dignity, patience, and respect.

Our home offers a small resident-to-caregiver ratio, allowing caregivers to provide more personalized care without the overwhelming workload often found in larger facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting • Provide companionship and emotional support • Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers when needed • Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance • Perform light housekeeping and laundry • Follow care plans and report any changes in residents’ condition • Help maintain a safe, calm, and clean home environment

Requirements

• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred (Adult Foster Home, Assisted Living, Home Care, CNA, or DSP) • Experience in Adult Foster Homes is a plus • CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain after hire • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to scheduled shifts on time • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality • Ability to pass a criminal background check • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or assist with transferring up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods of time • Ability to assist residents with mobility, repositioning, and transfers • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Conditions of Employment

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check as required by Oregon DHS regulations • Employees must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation • Employees must follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and care regulations • Regular and reliable attendance is required to ensure continuity of care for residents • Employees must maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communication with residents, families, and coworkers

Schedule

• Full-time or Part-time opportunities available • Shifts are from 7am-830pm • Weekend availability is a plus
