    Opportunity for advancement

Early riser? We have consistent morning hours open for caregivers in the Acworth area, and we'd love to talk.

Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned home care agency serving families in Acworth, Kennesaw, and across northwest Cobb , Paulding and Cherokee County. We're filling morning shifts with clients who need reliable, compassionate help to start their day — and we need caregivers who show up the same way every time.

    What you'll be doing

Your mornings will be spent in a client's home. Personal care is usually the first priority — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility. From there it's meal prep, light housekeeping, and just being a steady, trustworthy presence. You'll get to know your clients well, and they'll count on seeing you. That relationship is the whole point of in-home care done right.

    The schedule

Morning shifts generally run between 7am and 12pm, though some clients need coverage a little earlier or later. Most shifts are Monday through Friday, with some Saturday availability needed. We're looking for caregivers who can commit to a consistent 15–20 hours per week.

    What we're looking for

Valid Georgia driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified — we can point you in the right direction)

Negative TB test or chest X-ray

Must pass a background check and drug screen

CNA or PCA experience is a plus — but if you have the heart for this work and the experience to back it up, we offer paid training

    What's in it for you

$15–$18/hr based on your experience and certifications

    Mileage reimbursement between client homes

    Holiday pay at time-and-a-half

    Bi-weekly pay

    Referral bonuses

A management team that's actually reachable — 24/7 support means we're there when you need us

Paid training and continued professional development

We know caregivers have choices about where to work. We try to be the agency worth choosing — fair pay, consistent hours, and a team that treats you like a professional, because you are one.
