Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Responsibilities
Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
Plan and prepare meals and snacks
Perform light housekeeping
Medication reminders
Assist with errands and shopping
Accompany clients to doctor appointments and social gatherings
Act responsibly and quickly in emergency situations
Carry out additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an approved program
One year of full-time experience in personal care or in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing home) OR one year of direct client care experience in a home care agency within the last five years
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Evidence of maturity and ability to handle job demands effectively
A sympathetic attitude towards client care
Ability to work closely under supervision to ensure quality care
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to build rapport with clients and their families
Must pass a criminal history check before employment
Additional Requirements
CPR and First Aid certifications from a recognized provider
Genuine passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
Compassionate, respectful, ethical
Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
Reliable transportation and Valid Driver’s License
Valid proof of a negative TB test or willingness to get tested
Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Ability to lift heaving objects
