Caregiver – Executive Home Care of Aurora

Caregiver Responsibilities

Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.

Homemaking Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, hydration, and maintaining a clean environment.

Mobility & Transfer Assistance: Assist with walking, transfers, wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts (training provided).

Transportation: Drive clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and social activities.

Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on schedule with medications.

Exercise & Mobility Support: Encourage movement and assist with physical activity as needed.

Companionship: Build trusted relationships through conversation, emotional support, and presence.

Monitoring & Reporting: Observe changes in client condition and report concerns to supervisors or family members.

Requirements

Must have a reliable vehicle

Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance

Ability to pass background and reference checks

Ability to lift 25–50 pounds when needed

Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

Qualifications

Caregiving, home care, CNA, or healthcare experience preferred

No experience necessary, we provide training

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and problem-solve in difficult situations

Passion for helping others
