Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Office Manager, or Administrator, and/or Owner, is responsible for providing compassionate and quality home care and companion services to all new and current clients.
As a Caregiver at GENISCi operating as Executive Home Care, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications:
Minimum High School diploma and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of home health care preferred
Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
Compassionate and empathetic attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
Essential Functions:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
Medication Reminders:
Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules
Support clients in managing their medication routines.
Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Companionship and Social Interaction:
Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
Health Monitoring:
Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
Document care provided and any notable observations.

Homes, Medical Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, etc.
Position Physical Demands:
Assisting with mobility: Helping clients in and out of bed, chairs, wheelchairs, or other positions.
Safe Patient Handling: Following protocols for safe patient transfers, potentially involving mechanical lifts or assistance from others, especially with patients weighing over 35 pounds.
Carrying: Transporting supplies, equipment, and sometimes assisting clients with belongings.
Prolonged Standing: Spending extended periods on your feet.
Walking and running: Moving within the client's home and potentially accompanying them on errands or appointments.
Bending, twisting, and reaching: Performing tasks like assisting with personal care, housekeeping, or reaching for supplies.
Kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling: Depending on the client's needs and the home environment.
Climbing stairs: Assisting clients on stairs or navigating multi-level homes.
