Job Summary:

Qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Whether you are experienced or new to caregiving - we will train you!

Knowledge of home health care preferred

Previous caregiver or companion experience a plus

Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred

Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Ability to follow care plans and communicate well with clients and team members

Essential Functions (Experience Preferred – Full Training and Support Provided):

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

Medication Reminders:

Prompt clients to take medication on schedule

Support safe adherence to medication routines

Meal Preparation and Nutrition:

Plan and prepare, or assist with, meals per dietary requirements.

Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

Companionship and Social Interaction:

Offer conversation and emotional support.

Accompany clients to appointments and activities.

Health Monitoring & Documentation:

Observe and report changes in client's health status to the care team.

Document care provided and any notable observations.

Working Environment:

Private homes, medical facilities, rehab centers, and long-term care settings

Position Physical Demands:

Assisting with mobility and safe patient handling

Lifting / transferring up to 35 lbs with assistance or equipment

Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stair navigation
