Responsibilities

Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation, and transfers per each client’s plan of care

Monitor client’s condition and report any changes promptly

Prepare light meals and provide nutrition support

Perform light housekeeping related to client care

Offer companionship and emotional support

Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)

Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)

Maintain accurate documentation using our mobile app

Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant)

Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional standards

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience (non-family care)

Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN

High school diploma or GED

Current CPR certification and TB test (or willing to obtain)

Must pass a national background check

Valid photo ID and Social Security card (for employment verification)

Dependable, compassionate, and professional
