JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist clients with all ADL’s to include bathing, grooming, transfer and toileting

Light housekeeping – maintain a clean and safe environment

Meal planning and preparation

Transport to doctor visits, grocery store, etc.

Client engagement catered to their interests and abilities

Overall companionship and emotional support

Keep agency informed of client’s eating habits or health changes

Document patient care activities accurately and communicate effectively with family members and agency

Medication reminders

QUALIFICATIONS

Caregiving experience – must be able to perform all ADL’s

Ability to assist clients with mobility issues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Valid driver's license / good driving record / auto insurance

Genine desire to help others

Positive work ethic

Clean background record & driving record

Reliable transportation
