Job Description
As a Companion Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte & Mooresville, you help clients stay safe, comfortable, and connected in their own homes. This role is about being present, building trust, and supporting daily life—not medical care.
What You’ll Do:
Spend quality time listening, talking, being fully present and engaging with clients
Help with light housekeeping, meals, and simple errands
Assist with daily routines (ADL's) and ensure client safety
Offer emotional support and companionship
Communicate any concerns quickly with clients, family and HWCG team so clients get the help they need.
Collaborate with broader care team to ensure quality and connected care is provided.

Requirements
Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility preferred but nor required.
Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
