Typical Schedule Availability: McKenney offers flexible schedules designed to fit your lifestyle and availability throughout Lee and Collier County:

Part-Time Morning Shifts: 8am–12pm, 9am–1pm, 10am–2pm (great for retirees or parents during school hours)

Short or Split Shifts: 2–4-hour AM/PM options

Average Shifts: 5–7-hour AM/PM options

Extended Shifts: 8–12-hour day or overnight shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility

Provide medication reminders and basic health monitoring; report changes promptly

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed; follow dietary restrictions in the Care Plan

Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, general tidying)

Offer companionship and engagement — conversation, indoor/outdoor activities, community outings

Complete accurate documentation of tasks using the WellSky app

Provide safe, reliable transportation for errands or appointments

Follow care plans and supervisor or nurse instructions carefully

Required Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, and Reliable Transportation

Second form of ID such as Social Security Card or Passport

Auto Insurance with expiration dates visible

Hands-On CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)

TB test (PPD or lab within 6 months) or chest X-ray within 5 years (or willingness to obtain)

Level 2 Background Screening for the State of FL-AHCA (or willingness to obtain)

Professionalism, strong communication and documentation skills, and consistent reliability
