    Great care takes consistency and teamwork. For this short-term Lakewood assignment, we’re looking to build a small team of caregivers to share shifts, offering longer overnight weekday hours and weekend daytime coverage, ensuring the client receives dependable, around-the-clock support.

    While this may be a short-term client, once these visits conclude, we always have additional amazing clients we support throughout the Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Lakewood areas, offering other opportunities for caregivers who want compassionate work and provide meaningful care experiences.

    About Us

    Assisting Hands Littleton is a non-medical, private-duty in-home care agency serving clients throughout Littleton, Lakewood, and Highlands Ranch, CO. Our caregivers provide trusted, one-on-one support that helps clients live independently at home, offering peace of mind to families who value dependable, compassionate care.

    🗓️ Schedule (Short-Term Shared Coverage)

    This is a short-term client assignment with shifts shared between multiple caregivers.

    The schedule includes (shifts times could change):

    Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight coverage)

    Saturday–Monday:

    8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (daytime coverage)

    2:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight coverage)

    This structure is designed so a small team of caregivers shares coverage, allowing for longer, more stable shifts and reduced handoffs.

    Care is provided 24/7, 365 days a year, based on the client’s individualized care plan.

    What You’ll Provide

    Calm, attentive supervision and care across day and overnight hours

    Gentle companionship and emotional reassurance

    Assistance with mobility, toileting, meals, and daily routines

    A steady, caring presence that helps the client feel safe and supported

    Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight shifts

    Requirements

    Minimum 1 year caregiving experience required (in-home or facility)

    Must be 18 years or older

    High School Diploma or GED

    Eligible to work in the United States

    Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

    Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    Ability to pass background and CAPS checks

    3 professional references

    Negative TB test within 30 days of hire

    Must be comfortable working in a home with cats
