Part-Time Home Care Aide (Minimum 20 Hours/Week Availability) Location: Streator and Surrounding Areas
Flawless Family Home Care is hiring reliable, professional part-time caregivers in the Streator area and surrounding communities. We provide consistent, respectful, non-medical home care for seniors and adults who need dependable support at home.
This is a structured position with clear expectations, strong communication, and consistent office support. If you take attendance seriously, follow care plans carefully, and want steady hours with a professional agency, this is a strong opportunity.
This role requires a minimum availability of 20 hours per week, with opportunities to grow hours over time based on reliability, flexibility, and performance.

Pay & Compensation
• $17.00/hour starting rate • $18.00/hour starting rate with verified experience documented in the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry • $0.50/hour raise at 6 months for caregivers in good standing • $0.50/hour raise at 12 months for caregivers in good standing • Annual cost-of-living adjustment after 12 months (based on business needs and performance) • Paid travel time between clients (not commute time) • Paid mileage for approved work travel • $1.50/hour overnight differential (10:00 PM–7:00 AM) • Premium pay available for select assignments
Training & Support
• Structured in-office orientation • Paid shadow shifts with an experienced caregiver • Clear care plans and defined expectations • Responsive office team with consistent communication • Ongoing training and performance feedback
Schedule & Availability Requirements
• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week is required • Availability must include at least two weekday shifts • Additional hours may be available for caregivers with broader availability and willingness to travel locally • This position is not suitable for on-call-only or extremely limited availability
Caregiver Responsibilities
• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting • Support mobility and safety supervision • Meal preparation and light housekeeping • Companionship and daily routine support • Follow care plans and document services accurately • Maintain professional boundaries at all times
Requirements
• Experience preferred; we will train candidates who demonstrate professionalism and accountability • Strong attendance and reliability are mandatory • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation • Ability to work independently and follow agency standards • Must pass required background screening and complete onboarding prior to scheduling • A no-call/no-show is treated as voluntary resignation under FFHC policy
Service Area Notice
Flawless Family Home Care serves clients throughout Livingston, LaSalle, Grundy, and McLean counties, including rural and small-town communities. We make every effort to assign caregivers within approximately 30 minutes of their home when possible; however, assignments are based on client needs, availability, and geographic coverage. Approved mileage and paid travel time between client visits are provided in accordance with agency policy.
