    Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide in-home support for an 18-year-old client with disabilities in the Stone Oak area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young adult's life while maintaining consistent weekday evening hours.

    About the Position:

    We're looking for someone who enjoys working one-on-one with young adults, helping them build independence and maintain quality of life in their own home. This role provides essential support during evening hours when assistance with daily activities and companionship are most needed.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
    • Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
    • Provide companionship and age-appropriate engagement activities
    • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to family and care coordinator
    • Support client's independence while ensuring safety

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Patient, positive attitude with genuine interest in working with young adults with disabilities
    • Reliable transportation and ability to commit to consistent M-F evening schedule
    • Experience with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or adaptive care preferred
    • Strong communication skills with both the client and family members
    • CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Pass background check and drug screening
    • Must be able to work independently and follow care plans
