Schedule (18.5 hours per week)

Monday through Friday: 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

Saturday: 2.5 hours

Sunday: 1 hour

Position Summary Provide personal care assistance to an adult male client who uses a wheelchair. The morning shift prepares the client for his day program; the evening shift assists him after he returns home and prepares him for bed.

Duties

Assist with dressing and undressing

Assist with safe transfers into and out of the wheelchair

Provide incontinence care, including cleaning, changing, and skin checks

Assist with bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene as needed

Prepare the client for his daycare program in the morning and for bed in the evening

Maintain a clean, safe personal care area

Clock in and out through the electronic visit verification system at each shift

Document care provided on the client task sheet

Requirements

Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance for both daily shifts

Ability to safely assist with transfers and support the physical demands of the role

Comfortable providing incontinence and personal hygiene care

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Prior personal care, CNA, or home care experience preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
