Ideal candidates have a minimum of one-year experience care giving, excellent communication skills, personal care experience with seniors and a heart for working with seniors.
Primary Responsibilities (based on level of care competency and assignment by Administrator):
· Providing daily routine care based on the Plan of Care, with assignments determined by demonstrated competency · Cleaning and housekeeping (client rooms, laundry, and maintaining bathrooms) · Engaging clients in conversation and activities for socialization · Transporting clients to appointments and outings (as approved by caregiver and agency mutually) · Must observe all Universal Precautions · Providing medication reminders, assisting with meal preparation and clean-up, and documenting all tasks in ClearCare · Professionalism is emphasized through timely clock-in/clock-out, clear communication with clients and management, and reporting any concerns that need escalation
Knowledge & Skill Requirements · State certification and license in good standing, if applicable
· High school diploma or GED
· Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· ClearCare/ WellSky experience is a plus
· Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
