About the Role:

Compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide is needed in the Washington, DC area. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed

Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors

Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed

Maintain accurate care logs and documentation in compliance with agency standards

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, CNA, CMT or in a similar caregiving role preferred

Valid CMT certification or willingness to obtain on

Valid HHA certification or willingness to obtain one

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Washington, DC area

Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
