Location: Milwaukee, WI 53223 Schedule: Monday to Sunday | 9-hour shifts (Afternoon & Night Shifts) Job Type: Full-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a highly experienced and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client requiring Hoyer lift assistance. This role is best suited for caregivers with strong hands-on experience in safe transfers and personal care support.

Responsibilities:

Assist with Hoyer lift transfers and safe mobility support

Provide bathing and shower assistance

Offer companionship and emotional support

Assist with dressing and personal grooming

Perform grocery shopping

Prepare simple meals

Perform light housekeeping tasks

Maintain a safe and clean home environment

Assist with scheduling physician and lab appointments

Qualifications:

Must have experience using Hoyer lift equipment and safe transfer techniques

Previous caregiving experience required (strong preference for in-home care experience)

Reliable, punctual, and highly attentive to safety

Compassionate and able to provide respectful personal care

Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively

Comfortable working extended shifts (day and night coverage)
