About the Role:

Join our compassionate team at McKenney Home Care as a Caregiver for a Male client in Venice, FL. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the life of an individual in need of support and companionship.

Client Requirements: Schedule 9am-3pm M/Tu/Wed but other days may become available to the right fit

Client is very pleasant and lives at home with his finance who is particular in the care provided

Client likes to go see his friends for lunch, likes music, movies and to take walks.

Shower 3 times week

clean bathrooms

meal prep

clean kitchen

clean house, dust mop floors

laundry

transfers

transport for errands and doctors are REQUIRED with Caregiver vehicle

change bed linens 2 times week

assist with dressing and toileting

DO NOT ask client any questions

DO NOT discuss any of your personal life

DO NOT take out cell phones at any time, clock in and out from your vehicle

when you enter home take off shoes and wash hands before you start anything.

No bags or personal items to be brought into the house

no food or drinks brought in the home

no loud music in the car when transporting client

no animal hair in the car

no smoking in the car

no using cell phone in the car

car must be clean on the inside

no headphones on shift

do not use his credit card

no leaving early or being late

no filling car with gas when client is in the car

be self-motivated

speak clear English for effective communication

Agency Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred.

Experience in caregiving or a related field is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to pass background check

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Willingness to complete CPR hands on course

Willingness to complete TB Test or have within the last 6 months
