About the Role:

A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Aberdeen, MD! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need daily support. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being

Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed

Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors

Requirements:

Prior caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred

Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong communication skills and a dependable, punctual work ethic

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients
