About the Role:
A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our growing team in Glyndon, MD! Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
Transport clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed
Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors
Requirements:
Prior caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or certified nursing assistant (CNA) experience preferred
Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional attitude
Ability to perform light physical tasks including lifting and assisting with transfers
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
