    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect the privacy of residents' health information.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to create individualized care plans.
    • Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

    Skills

    • Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively.
    • Proficiency in meal preparation tailored to dietary needs.
    • Certification in CPR is preferred for emergency situations.
    • Experience in direct support roles within group home settings is a plus.
    • Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes.
    • Background in social work or related fields can enhance caregiving effectiveness.
