About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver with specialized experience supporting individuals with autism. The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and skilled in working with neurodiverse individuals to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to an individual with autism in a home or community setting

Assist with daily living activities (e.g., meals, hygiene, routines)

Implement behavior support strategies as needed

Foster communication, social skills, and emotional regulation

Engage in structured activities and provide meaningful companionship

Maintain a calm, consistent, and supportive environment

Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and care team

Keep accurate documentation of activities and observations

Stay updated on caregiving skills by completing 12 hours of annual training through our Caregiver Universi

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience, specifically with individuals on the autism spectrum

Understanding of autism-related behaviors and communication styles

Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

Background check required
