About the Role:

Assisting Hands of North County is looking for compassionate, dedicated Caregivers to join our growing team serving the San Diego area! We have immediate openings for AM, PM, and NOC shifts — so whether you're an early riser or a night owl, we have a schedule that works for you. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and errands

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors

Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or CNA experience preferred

Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled clients

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references

Availability for AM, PM, or NOC shifts in the San Diego/North County area

Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional attitude

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
