Job Description

The Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing assistance and oversight to constituent Carl Zeiss business units to ensure compliance with all Trade related regulations as they relate to import and export operations. This position will work closely with various business units, reporting to the Director of Trade Compliance, Americas to improve compliance and assist with implementing best business practices. Primarily responsible for the export and import compliance screening process to ensure company is following all regulatory requirements. Provide trade compliance oversight to all activities, working with multiple business groups to ensure effective compliance controls have been implemented and are being followed. They will also provide trade compliance assistance with classifications and regulatory research and other trade related matters as they relate to logistics activities.
