    Job Description

    The Financial Analyst, Sales Ops will be responsible for processing customer pricing and contract workflows, researching and resolving customer pricing discrepancies, and providing auditing/reporting support for ROI analysis, in support of the US Sales organization. This individual is also responsible for creating win-win relationships with customers and internal partners as this is the cornerstone for delivering the Carl Zeiss Vision (CZV) promise of world class optical products and services.

     

    WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FINANCIAL ANALYST TO SUPPORT OUR GROWING EYE CARE PROFESSIONAL & RETAIL BUSINESS. DUTIES INCLUDE:

    • Review and process customer onboarding workflows through Salesforce.com.
    • Determine appropriateness and alignment of customer program requests using established
    • templates and delegation of authority matrix.
    • Track, monitor and report on the status of buying group and individual customer agreement
    • requests in process, and post activation.
    • Create special financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis using SQL, Access, Excel, etc.
    • Ability to create weekly and monthly reports in both spreadsheet and PowerPoint formats, to
    • support ROI reviews.
    • Support month end close activities, perform variance analysis and support the budgeting and
    • forecasting process.
    • Perform ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as assigned.
    • Participate on project teams to develop / enhance commercial programs and information
    • systems.
    • Troubleshoot customer account setup errors and issues, and coordinate with internal resources
    • to correct the issues (including calculating credits owed, and submitting credit requests)
    • Periodically audit and update customer pricing in SAP.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS in Economics, Statistics, Business Info Systems, Finance or related field
    • Minimum 3 years related professional level experience in a corporate office environment
    • Optical industry experience preferred
    • Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Must have solid spreadsheet, analytical, math and statistical data analysis skills
    • Knowledge of, and familiarity with SAP,CRM, DVI, etc. desired
    • Familiarity with SQL, Salesforce.com preferred
    • Must have high attention to detail and proven organization / planning / communication skills
    • Ability to lead projects and coordinate with other departments
    • Possess outstanding interpersonal relationship skills
