JOB SUMMARY

You’ll be working closely with our sales team, managing the mortgage process from loan submission through to closing. Being adaptable and efficient is very important for this position. Strong organizational skills are essential to success in this role, along with the ability to follow-up consistently and keep track of pipeline progress in a logical and systematic manner. Attention to detail and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are of paramount importance. Please note this is a remote position, open to all persons residing and authorized to work in the United States. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, CA and the team operates in Pacific time zone hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Package and submit loans to lender underwriting for conditional review and full approval.
• Review residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets lender standards according to the desired loan product, borrower income/assets/credit while taking into consideration unique outside-the-box criteria for RSU income, asset utilization, and Non-QM loan products.
• Work with the loan officer, transaction coordinator and third parties to clear all prior to doc conditions and funding conditions.
• Schedule and track closing dates, contingency dates and loan lock expirations.
• Coordinate with all third-party service providers and vendors to obtain needed documents and items in a timely manner.
• Provide top-tier service and respectful, consultative guidance to all members of our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years’ current experience in wholesale and/or correspondent mortgage loan processing
• Must be a people person with excellent phone and email communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary
