Background: We are located in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area and are a ministry of Grace Point Church. We accept children ages 2-6. We incorporate Christian Values into our everyday curriculum and lead by example. We have been open over 25 years and have a highly sought-after program and a wonderful reputation in the community. WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING PAID TIME OFF:

LABOR DAY, VETERAN'S DAY, 1 WEEK AT THANKSGIVING, 2 WEEKS FOR CHRISTMAS-NEW YEAR'S, MLKJR., PRESIDENT'S DAY (2 DAYS), 1 FULL WEEK IN APRIL FOR SPRING BREAK, MEMORIAL DAY-26 DAYS IN TOTAL.

School Hours:

7:30am-5:30pm

JOB DUTIES:

*WE CURRENTLY HAVE 1 OPEN FT POSITION:

1. M-F 8:30a-5:30p This is a year round position-we remain open during summer months.

Position Descriptions:

This position will teach independently in an older 2s/young 3s classroom with up to 12 children. Children in this room may need some potty training assistance, so you must be comfortable with diapering/toileting assistance and working with parents on potty training skills.

You will be responsible for developing a daily schedule, planning curriculum activities, communicating with parents via email and/or Class Dojo or similar app as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of 12 early childhood education units (child/human growth & dev, child/family/community, program/curriculum, other-infant, school age, etc.)

· Knowledge of title 22 CCL regulations

· Fingerprint clearance or the ability to obtain ASAP

· CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to obtain ASAP

JOB TYPE: Monday-Friday FT 40hrs/week

PAY: $19.00-$21.00 DOE for a closing position
