    CAROLINA ENERGY CONSERVATION is on the hunt for a FULL-TIME SOLAR SALES REP / SALESMAN to join our GROWING FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS and provide stellar customer service while advising our MYRTLE BEACH, SC clients about their solar needs.     Our Solar Sales Reps engage in PAID TRAINING and when finished, can expect to earn a competitive SALARY PLUS COMMISSION with the goal of eventually working to a 100%-commission-based position. This outside sales job has an earning potential of $80,000 - $100,000 THE FIRST YEAR and $100,000 - $150,000 THE NEXT YEAR.     A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SOLAR SALES REP / SALESMAN

    As your day begins, you prep yourself for a day of success! You enjoy meeting new people and anticipate helping meet their home solar needs with products and services you would purchase yourself. To follow through on your promise to be on time, you work within a 2-mile radius of our Myrtle Beach headquarters, and every client knows that you view his/her business as a top priority. Upon entering the home and greeting your clients, you not only listen intently to their concerns and desires, but you perform a full house audit and propose the best possible solutions to meet their needs. You whole-heartedly believe that being the best Salesman means you are honest, work with integrity, and share all benefits clearly and accurately so your customers feel knowledgeable and well taken care of. You are clear about financing options and, upon closing the sale, construct and submit an accurate job proposal that includes photos, instructions, required inventory, customer's accomplish list, pricing list, and total price for the job.

    You thrive on sharing knowledge and providing the best service you can, so you make it a priority to maintain positive relationships with clients by keeping track of current customers and potential leads in our customer relationship management (CRM) software. To keep your skills in tip-top shape, you actively participate in all sales training, including role play with other team members and consultations with the sales manager. You further grow your expertise by attending building science lessons and visit trade shows and conduct home energy seminars to develop leads. There is no doubt that you are a successful salesman!     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Able to learn and maintain knowledge about the technical aspects of solar energy
    • Able to perform energy audits for homeowners
    • Can learn and follow the DES selling process
    • Able and willing to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders, and crawl in hot attics
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software
    • Able to drive to appointments in the Grand Strand, Wilmington, Charleston, and Sumter areas
    • Competency of sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction theories and practices

    Knowledge about solar systems would be helpful, but WE CAN TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON! Do you consider yourself to be a great communicator and savvy businessman?     WORK SCHEDULE

    Our sales representative's typical work week includes working full-time hours from MONDAY - FRIDAY, with SOME AVAILABILITY FOR SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS required to accommodate the schedules of homeowners.
