    JOB DETAILS

    OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – CHARLOTTE NC 

    OUR GROWING BUSINESS IS IN SEARCH OF HARD-CHARGING HIGH ENERGY OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE TO INCREASE SALES IN OUR CHARLOTTE TERRITORY. REPORTING TO THE HEAD OF SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ESTABLISHING CONTACT WITH EXISTING CUSTOMERS, IDENTIFYING NEW OPPORTUNITIES, AND FOLLOWING UP ON POTENTIAL LEADS AND CLOSING ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION TOOLS & MATERIALS. THE OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WILL ALSO MONITOR INDUSTRY TRENDS IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY EMERGING OPPORTUNITIES AND DEVELOP PLANS TO UTILIZE THOSE OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE SALES REVENUE. IF YOU HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN OUTSIDE SALES AND A DESIRE TO EXPAND YOUR CAREER AND WORK FOR A GREAT ORGANIZATION, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.     ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and pricing structure.
    • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
    • Builds and sustains customer relationships and ensures satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
    • Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
    • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
    • Regularly meet with General Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4+ years of outside sales experience
    • Available to receive and make calls on a moment’s notice around the clock.
    • Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software.
    • Strong Team Player - self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal direction.
    • Excellent interpersonal and superior communication skills
    • Good driving record.
