    Job Description

    CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL RESOURCES, INC is looking for a field OUTSIDE SALES - INDUSTRIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE RALEIGH METRO AREA! You will be responsible for developing prospect lists, making appointments, and making cold calls to small and midsized area business. You will present and sell packaging products for immediate shipment from our Raleigh area warehouse. Salesperson will also present and collect information on the customer needs for our range of customized packaging products. We are looking for a confident, self-motived, high energy person who is not afraid to knock on doors, find the decision maker, and close the sale. For the right person, the compensation will be high and achievable ($75,000-100,000).

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Understand CIR FLEXIBLE PACKAGING products and service functionality and competitive advantages.
    • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
    • Successfully complete multiple sales transactions per week
    • Educate customer on how CIR products and services can benefit them financially.
    • Monitor CIR’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer specific needs.
    • Provide a detailed daily call report
    • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
    • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bright, energetic, self motivated professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

    5+ years experience opening multiple new accounts in the B2B environment

    · Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team in a in a fast –paced, changing environment.

    · Inherent ability to influence and gain cooperation of others.

    · Strong customer service and rapport building skills.

    · Proficient in technology and computer programs. (Microsoft products)

    · Able to travel daily in your territory.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 5 + years related sales experience, preferably in flexible packaging capacity or industrial business to business sales.
    • Successfully complete multiple sales transactions per week
    • Have a smartphone and access from a PC/Laptop to the Internet
    • Proven sales experience.
    • Self-motivated and driven to meet sales goals.
