    Astronautics is seeking a Master Scheduler to be an integral part of the planning of procuring material and production scheduling to meet both internal and external customer demands. The Master Scheduler with work with the Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Repair departments implementing the best scheduling practices. The Master Scheduler will monitor the material flow and identify issues early in the process.

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage Purchase Requisition release to support production schedules. • Review Engineering Change Orders for impact to production schedules. • Review component part setup and make recommendations to improve planning demands. • Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor products through the complete production cycle based on customer orders and delivery requirements. • Review and analyze Purchase Orders from customers and communicate well in advance to all departments involved any issues that will have an impact on the due date.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate degree in business administration, operations or a related field from an accredited institution. • Minimum one year of experience performing scheduling in a manufacturing environment. • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) • Experience in ERP/MRP/Scheduling Software (IFS or similar software preferred.) • Strong data access/retrieval skills with experience in data analysis and data manipulation using ERP systems and other software. • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Good organizational skills; ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor degree in business administration, operations or a related field from an accredited institution.. • 3+ years of experience in production planning / master production scheduling / capacity management.
